Atlantis
A secure marketplace for owners of digital models to sell licenses to print them on Markforged printers.
Atlantis was a project at Markforged, an industrial 3d printer company, to make a marketplace for owners of digital models to sell secure licenses to print these models. It provided secure IP protection and a complete digital chain of ownership. We shipped the initial prototype in less than a year, and it has been successfully used in production for several years. The core was built on React, TypeScript, and Postgres, connecting securely to Python firmware on the physical printers.
